At JORFE, we strongly believe in innovation, technology, and the development of young talent. For this reason, we are especially proud to have collaborated as sponsors of the Robotech team from Mollerussa, recently crowned world champions at the FIRST LEGO League World Festival held in Houston, Texas (USA), one of the most prestigious international educational robotics competitions within the STEM field.
Each year, the FIRST LEGO League brings together thousands of students from around the world with the aim of promoting scientific and technological vocations through real-world challenges related to engineering, programming, robotics, and innovation. In this edition, more than 160 international teams participated in the world final after successfully overcoming demanding regional and national qualifying stages.
The Robotech team, made up of students aged between 12 and 16, stood out especially for the technical and strategic performance of their autonomous robot, the mechanical and programming design, as well as the quality of their innovation project presented before the international jury. The championship recognizes not only technical excellence, but also key skills such as teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and the cooperative values promoted by the FIRST LEGO League.
This success marks the culmination of an extraordinary journey for Robotech, which had already achieved significant recognition in national and international competitions over recent seasons. After becoming national champions and obtaining top scores in categories such as Robot Design and Robot Performance, the team once again qualified for the world final held in Houston.
